Journal Entry #16
Upon leaving Stormwind, I headed up to the Eastern Plaguelands. I have been loathe to enter this territory as it was were Katrii fell to The Lone Hunter. This land is depressing and the Scourge still reside here. The Argent Crusade is trying to drive them out but doesn’t seem to be having a whole lot of luck.I found the spirit of the little girl, Pamela Redpath, and she asked to find her dolly and she asked me to retrieve her father’s sword from this Lone Hunter. I had heard that a warrior had taken down the Lone Hunter but obviously this creature cannot be truly killed and is only banished temporarily from this world. I retried the dolly and went to look at the Lone Hunter. I could not bring myself to face him in battle. I stood there and stared and lost my nerve. I’m sorry, Katrii. The fact that this things was able to bring down such an experienced fighter makes me afraid that I am not up to the task. I left him where he stood and did not look back.
I have been traveling with a caravan owned by Fiona, a worgen, and her two paladin wannabe companions. These two, a dwarf and a blood elf, are skilled but have not been inducted in to the order yet. I was very leery of the blood elf at first. I am learning that I cannot hold individual people to task for what an entire race has done. Even though the blood elves have attacked my people and was the cause of the crash of the Exodar and a group of them are still after our blood on Bloodmyst Isle, it is not the fault of the individual blood elf I run across in Azeroth. I am trying to remember to judge each individual I meet on their own merits. For now I am enjoying the company of these two trainees and they have helped me with a few tasks. In a few days I will be at Light’s Hope Chapel and they will hopefully have some tasks that I can help them with.Kari
