Journal Entry #5

I have been very busy these past few weeks; these elves are working me to death!   This suits me fine as then I don’t dwell on my sorrow. 

 I spent several days helping clear out the Horde presence north of Lor’danel.  In the process I managed to secure the release of several imprisoned Sentinels and rid Azeroth of the monster who tortured and killed so many others.  Then without so much as a pause I was asked to head to a small night elf campground which I could reach by going south toward Ashenvale .

I found the elves who were trying to cleanse the local wildlife of some kind of taint which come to find out came from the meddling’s of a cult called the Twilight Hammer.   They were actually digging up the remains of supposedly an old god of all things!  The energies they had disrupted affected the wildlife.  In the process of investigating this group and their activities, I came across some Dwarven prospectors.  This is my first time dealing with Dwarfs and they are a strange race if these three are any indication of the rest of their peoples.  Their excavation site had been taken over by murlocs looking for a home and I can’t believe I actually helped to build those creatures a new habitat, but I did.

I am making my way to Astranaar in the hopes to gain a couple of days of rest and meditation to recover my strength.

Journal Entry #6

I overheard some Sentinels here in Astranaar mention Katrii’s name so I, of course, strained to hear the conversation.  Katrii seems to have made a favorable impression on those she came into contact with.  They spoke of a warrior who avenged her death by completing the task that had brought about her death.   The spirit beast known as The Lone Hunter had been destroyed and the spirit of the little human girl which Katrii was trying to help ease into the next world has been released.

It was like a weight had been lifted from my own soul.  My sister had been avenged by a friend she had made along the way and she could now rest at ease with her task completed for her.  May the Light keep and protect that warrior who avenged Katrii for me.
