The Priestess Tyrande was most gracious to me. There is a serenity surrounding her which soothes the soul when in her presence. It was most a welcome feeling. She suggested I take a hyppogryph flight to Lor’danel and offer my aide to the Sentinels there in their rescue attempts.
I grabbed a quick bite to eat and toured Darnassus, which is awe inspiring when you take into account the sheer size of it and the number of residents, all the while the blacksmith made some minor repairs to my armor. I made sure to purchase some supplies not knowing exactly what I would find upon my arrival to that distant shore.
The night elves have done well in Lor’danel in regards to getting some buildings up for shelter and looking for survivors. There is death on the air here and I helped with looking for victims along the shore and somewhat inland. I did find some survivors and tried to share my strength with them using the Light but my training in that aspect is lacking. I did manage to ease their pain some until Sentinels arrived to take them back to Lor’danel. The dead’s positions were marked for retrieval and burial. The devastation here reminds me of the Exodar when we first crashed on Azuremyst. The dead are beyond their suffering; may the Light ease the pain of those still living. Tomorrow I go hunting as we need sustenance here.
