Once I finished my training with Rukua and Arrask, I took my leave of Kalimdor. I managed to book passage on The Bravery, a ship captained by a human by the name of Angelina Soluna. This was my first long sea voyage and I was a little leery of it. The captain and her first mate, Wavesinger , taught me many things about sailing. We had calm seas for which I was thankful because I did feel a little nauseous at first and I think rough seas might have done me in. We arrived safely at the harbor in Stormwind, the capital city of the Eastern Kingdoms.
The harbor was pretty quiet and I was not prepared for the bustling life in the city limits. People everywhere – all types of people – I think all the Alliance races were represented though the humans were the majority. The noise and movement is a little much for me after the serenity of the Exodar and the wilds I have been spending my time.As suggested by Rukua, I checked in with Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker, the commanding officer of the Knights of the Silver Hand in Stormwind. He graciously greeted me and offered me lodgings but I did not wish to intrude on them and asked for a recommendation of an inn. He offered me his assistance and gave me a brief debriefing of what was going on in the area which I greatly appreciated.
I have currently taken a room at The Gilded Rose and plan on having a light meal and then some sleep. I believe I will take a few days to tour the city and get a feel for these lands before I make my decision on where to go.Kari
